Cache of the Month Winner - February 2010

Northern Flicker

Comments on this choice:

  • "This is a superbly done series on a gorgeous section of the Rock River near Johnson Creek. The caches are well thought out and designed; they aren't run-of-the-mill in any way. It is a sublime winter adventure walking the icy river, but you can do it in the summer. The series is "green" allowing you to get out the car, save gas, get exercise and find several caches in one area. Though I love geocacing it isn't always "green" like this. I didn't have to feel guilty by putting many miles on my car. I felt refreshed and gratified after finishing this series. Well done notmuch!"
  • "A great, challenging series with humor to boot."
