WGA Cache of the Month

Cache of the Month Winner - October 2007

The Ghost of the Would-Be Geocacher

Comments on this choice:

  • "We really enjoyed this cache for a few reasons: 1. It's in one of our favorite state parks, Lapham Peak (which is truly the most beautiful this time of year) 2. It's a beautiful tribute to the owner's father who spent much time in this park with his family 3. It's a well executed multi-stage puzzle. It does require some homework before going out to the site, but it's entertaining and fairly easy. 4. The WPs take the cacher on a nice stroll through different terrains and landscapes of the park and teach the cacher some anecdotal family history of the would-be geocacher."
  • "Enjoyed the use of multi media. Park is beautiful spot for a walk, especially with the fall colors."
  • "I love the trail; not too easy, not too tough; in a beautiful, less busy area of Lapham Peak State Park!"
