Motion to produce and sell a series of WGA Pathtags as a fundraiser:

Whereas several WGA members expressed interest in purchasing a WGA produced Pathtag. Evidenced by an informal forum poll, with nearly 50% responding indicating they would purchase at least one WGA pathtag and 22% indicating they might purchase at least one WGA pathtag. Also most poll respondents would not purchase pathtags instead of a WGA 2010 Geocoin.

Whereas the WGA BOD indicated in the 2010 WGA budget, $500 of operating income would come from the profits of selling a WGA produced Pathtag as a fundraiser.

Whereas the WGA BOD commissioned the help of the 2010 WGA Geocoin Committee to research, design, and plan the WGA 2010 pathtag fundraiser.

Be it resolved that the WGA will purchase 450 total pathtags in the following quantities, finishes, and colors:
- 50 Transluscent Red on Gold metal - A limited edition (LE) pathtag
- 100 "WGA Green" on Silver metal
- 100 "WGA Brown" on Silver metal
- 100 "basic Blue" on Silver metal
- 100 Black on Silver metal

Be it further resolved, the WGA will purchase the pathtags at the following cost structure:
$99 for the first 50 + $5 for transluscent = $104
$99 for each additional 100
$12 for shipping
$54 for 50 acrylic 5-coin holders for 5 tag sets
$566 total cost

Be it further resolved, the WGA will sell pathtags at the following sale prices/quantities:
- 50 of each color sold in sets of 5 in acrylic holder @ $12
- 200 sold individually @ $2.50 each or 3 for $7.

Be it further resolved, based on the above cost and sale price, total income from the pathtag fundraiser if all quantities are purchased would be $1000 - $1100 and profit would be $434 - $534.

Be it further resolved, due to the high costs of selling items using online payment processing and the relatively low purchase price of Pathtags, WGA 2010 Pathtags will be sold primarily at WGA major events and WGA regional events and the sale will be advertised primarily on the WGA website.

Be it further resolved the design of the WGA 2010 pathtag will contain the WGA logo, the year 2010, and "Join us at www.wi-geocaching.com". Design, color, and finish of the 5 pathtags as in the following image:
