Whereas Ken Braband, a founding member of the Wisconsin Geocaching Association has requested that the WGA sponsor the second annual Gathering Waters Festival in Milwaukee.
Whereas his application includes these details:
Date of event: June 12, 2010
Location of event: Lakeshore State Park, Milwaukee

"Check-out the Wisconsin Geocaching Association’s free “Geocaching 101” demo at noon and 3 p.m. Learn about this new form of high-tech treasure hunting and go on a hunt for hidden geocaches using a handheld GPS navigation receiver. There will be permanent and temporary geocaches in the park."
