Preliminary Event Information:
The event will be pretty basic this year, but we are hoping to use this as a starting point for an annual event. There will be approximately 20 temporary caches located in 12 different parks throughout Howard. Caches will be in 4 oz. or 24 oz. Gladware containers (most are 4 oz.). Each geocacher will be issued a Park Tour Passport which contains all of the coordinates. As you find the caches, you will collect stickers to prove your journey. Meet at the Meadowbrook Park Pavilion at 9:00 am for a meet and greet from 9-10 am before setting out to find the caches. Then, finish the day by attending our outdoor Movie in the Park at Akzo Nobel Sports Complex at dusk. Those who complete the entire passport can turn in their passport at the Movie in the Park at Akzo Nobel Sports Complex or to the Village Hall during the following business week to choose a prize (t-shirt, hat, water bottle, etc. from local businesses).
