How hard would it be to integrate a spell check feature for when one is making a post? Just a random thought as I close the window with dictionary.com |

Xsalent idea!
I can't spell either, worst yet I can't manage to use the right word in a sentence (opps, I did it again, just typed "work" instead of "word").
For me, rather than running each word through a dictionary, like it seems your doing. I just type my whole posting, then before hitting [Submit] I TRY to remember to cut/paste it into MS-Word and let it yell at me. Just a suggestion, to make it more of a one step process. |

Wouldn't it be easier to start out on the Word page, type it up, spell-check, then cut and paste into the thread? That way you're not having to move/make corrections twice....just a thought.

Another method is to let the nit-pickers in the crowd find your errors and correct them for you.
BTW, that should be "...like it seems you're doing."

Safari checks my spelling for me as I type.
Firefox has a free spellchecker extension that you can install |

Our current UBB software doesn't have a spell check feature. I'm not sure if other bulletin boards have such a feature or not. Good question.

Wow! Well I'll be darn ... yes that would be easier. Should I send the "thank you" check to you or Bill Gates?

I dunno what engine they use, but the forums at cycleforums.com have a spell check feature. It works pretty slick.
