Just registered and thought I would take the time to intro. myself rather than just lurk (like I do on all of the other forums I monitor)!
I started caching this past year when I bought a new GPSr for hunting. I have only found a few in the limited time I have had available but having fun and have moved a couple of travel bugs already.
I look forward to more finds (as house remodeling projects allow)!

Welcome Gary, glad you checked in here!
If you have a chance, on Sunday there is an event nearby in Biron
GC20Z79 Meet & Greet & Sweet Treats. (shameless plug)
good venue to meet a few fellow cachers firsthand without having to travel too far.
Keep hanging out here in the forums too. Lots of info passed around and chances to set up outings with others too. |

Nice of you to join us! I lurked before I joined too. How else will you know if its worth your time? Read all the forums if you can. There is something for everyone, no matter how you cache. Enjoy the addiction! |

Welcome Gary........
I am glad to see another local cacher amongst the crowd here on WGA.
As labrat has stated there is a meet & greet tomorrow (12/27/09) just a few miles up the river in Biron. As co-hostess of this event (the other co-hostess is Mrs Sandlanders) I think it is an excellent opportunity to meet fellow cachers. I havent met alot of cachers & I am sooooooo looking forward to meeting more at GC20Z79 Meet & Greet & Sweet Treats.
Again welcome to the madness errrrrrrr I mean fun.

Oh, yes. I second the invitation from Blue Cougar. Events are a lot of fun, and a good way to meet people. And you can come and go (or I should say "cache and go") as you wish during the event. Or stay for the full two hours and share your caching tales.
And welcome to the WGA and the forums! |

Welcome, and hopefully you can stop in at the event tomorrow and we can meet in real life. If not then.....sometime down the trail! |
