A nice turn out for the 2009 wrap up of the LCG.
Thanks to Brian (uws22) for organizing the Event, as well as the WGA for their support and visual presence at Monks Bar and Grill in the Dells. Even though the weather was iffy, we've cached in much worse!
Should be interesting to see where huffinpuffin's pick for next years get together will be!

The event went off without a hitch. Thanks Brian!
The food was great, the company was great and the weather was... well, the food was great. |

The weather was... acceptable. But it definitely made being inside with fellow cachers surround by good food and drink all the more enjoyable. A special thanks to uws22 and the people at Monk's for making this event possible. And thanks to those who made the trip to the Dells in questionable weather (only a half hour's drive for us), the true spirit of caching. |

Yes, what a great event. Thanks a lot Brian for pulling it together, and thanks too for Dave for all his hard work in making the LCG possible. I didnt play much last year, but hope to give it a whirl again this year. The LCG is an important reason that Wisconsin geocaching listings are so much more current than what we see in our neighboring states.

Another event I couldn't make due to family plans taking me elsewhere. Sounds like a great time was had by all once again. To do my part in spirit, I did attempt 2 lonelies in the Richfield area.
I really enjoy the LCG because I don't get as much timing caching as I'd like and this provides my "list". I've found many of the puzzles challenging but fun, many traditionals that are awesome locations but people just don't want to walk a little, etc. Really a great mix of caches and as Zuma says - It keeps things fresh / current. |

It sounds like everyone there had a good time. The event was too far away for us to justify a day trip, family schedules being what they are, but we appreciated winning a door prize in absentia. |

Sounds like everyone had fun. The stars did not align for me either. With a family party conflicting I just couldn't get there. |

We missed you guys, but fortunately, we were able to trade your prizes to the bartenders for beers. |
