I am lurking and watching this thread with interest. February and March seem to be jam packed with caching (and non-caching) related events and such on the weekends so not sure if I can swing this but it would be nice to join on this cache hunt.
I will post my "will attend" next week if I can join the group. For now pencil me in and keep the eraser handy. |

Team Sloughfoot thinks they might be able to do this one. Sloughfoot is pretty good on the ice but I think the best way to test it is to put a rope on Rsplash and send him out first. If he falls through the other 20 of us should be able to pull him back out.
We had one of our geocoins spend about 9 months in this cache so I am interested in seeing where the cache location is. I have been past the backwater many times over the years.
We did the new woodpecker series in Johnson Creek last weekend and the ice is good on the Rock River so if anyone wants to do those 5 you don't want to wait too many weekends. |

Maybe - This is close to home, but I "got permission" to go to Marc's event this week. Hopefully I can talk my way into this one. I'll have to be on good behavior. |
I'm officially out for this one.
But not because of bad behavior. I got asked to help out at my nieces birthday party being held at the karate school. I'm too young at heart to pass this one up. |

Well, regardless of the humor attempt I'm unfortunately out, going to be caching locally if at all this weekend. Have fun and stay safe everyone. |

I should be able to make this one. I will have to come right from work and 3 may be cutting it a bit close. I'll just have to run and catch up to the group. At least there should be a nice path to follow by then. |

I think you will be fine there jstajlr....I am sure there will be a fair amount of B.S.ing going on before we head out.
Maybe Jay could even rustle up another log or two for team MuddyBottoms?? There would be at least 10 minutes of picture taking if we have a couple new walking sticks...then at least another 10 minutes thinking of names for them!!
I could probably find my own walking sticks, but why cut into bakrdz's business!! |

I'll take a look under all the snow through the pile of Roosevelt's siblings and see what I can find. |

I don't think there would be time after the Leprechauns but does anyone know how hard this one would be to get to in the winter. I haven't found a good spot to access the lake without walking a mile in the snow. Otherwise I'll wait until summer and bring the boat back. Marco Polo |

Hey Jailer....I would say that you could find that one if you really wanted to. I would tell you to approach from West, off of the county park landing. It would be about 2 miles one way. If you could hitch a ride with someone on an atv heading that way for some cisco's you could save some time. I have not ventured out along that shore in a few years, but I do know that heaves like to form along the sliding rock area, so you would have to hug shore, and that would be a drifted in mess.
It really just depends on if you want to try it...it might be a cake walk, it might be a pain. I know I have seen four wheelers in that direction, but I have not been over there since the new snow. |

It looks like the weather is going to be on our side, should prove to be a very enjoyable hike, hopefully the cache will cooperate.
Upper 20's...little to no wind, and party cloudy, should be a nice sunset over the lake when we are on our way out. |

Things are looking good for me to attend. I will plan on it, and unless something of urgent priority comes up, I'll be there. |
