We are really close to getting our 1000th cache and have decided to do The Lair for it. Wondering if anyone else would like to tag along with us as we do it? We have a couple of younger kids so the pace will be at their speed, but they will move along if we bribe them with ice cream at the end! Not sure when we will be doing this yet as this next weekend is booked and the wife works the weekend of Memorial Day, so this means we do have to almost stop caching for a bit... I think it will be like taking my Diet Dew away for us![/url] |

WOW! Nine pages of pictures in the gallery, It's on 20 bookmark lists and not a single "TFTC" log! This looks like a worthy milestone cache. |

I think this cache is still on our highlights bookmark list. Parking roadside I think the cache is maybe a .25 mile walk?... Fuzzy memories, but good ones. This cache packs a lot of what's great about caching into one hunt. Good luck! Lots of stories, but no need for anything more than two feet to travel on. |

Stubbs and I would love to join you. My problem will be the date. I don't have many weekend days off but if I know far enough in advance I may be able to ask off. |

Thanks all! Yeah, we are still bantering around a date on it.
Trekkin.. we hit one of our challenges (getting 1000 by memorial day and we pretty much did just have to slow down so we don't oveshoot) so now we've been talking what our next one is.. So far everyone here sounds interested in your How Hungry Are You challenge. |

Just to dust this one off and say my apologies that we couldn't do it for our number 1000. We ended up having issues on two ends that wouldn't have made it possible for us to do the cache until middle of June. Unfortuneatly, we met our goal of reaching 100 by Memorial Day and we didn't feel like not caching for almost a whole month!
I'm thinking of trying to get a group together to do it itowards the end of the June if anyone is interested? |
