A few of the TBs we found over the past few weeks had laminated goal sheets with them that explained what it was and what the current goal was. It seemed like it was something I'd be able to download from the GC site but I'm not seeing it. They weren't huge; maybe half an index card?
Does anyone have a link to this?
Thanks! |

If you go to your trackable item's page, there is a link off to the right that says "Print Info Sheet". |

If you go to a travel bug you owns page on the right hand side of the screen is box with Trackable Items Options. In that list is an option for Print Info Sheet. If you click that it will give you something similar to this for your travel bug.

You just have to print it out and laminate it. |

I also believe based on a previous quick encounter I had, that some cachers such as EarthAngel of Ecorangers actually make these little laminated sheets and write the # on the back as a courtesy to the TB owner and to help them keep track of ones they've already discovered when they come across them again.
Again, I may have misunderstood her, but now every time I see one with a square laminated goal log and a number written on the back I assume it's one that they've discovered already. |

There are a few cachers who make it a real point to move as many trackables as possible. Probably the best known is MaxB on the River who routinely prints and attaches laminated goal sheets to TB that he moves.
There are several others, though MaxB seems to get ahold of most of the trackables that come thru Wisconsin eventually. You can see his TB hotel for details of his efforts to move TBs at: GCK8ZV

For my geocoins, I will cut and paste the text from the mission info sheet to a word document and play with the font and margins until it fits a narrow sheet that can be folded and placed in the coin flip. that way the mission is known to the one who picks up the coin. (not saying they will honor the mission ) |

Hey everyone .. I guess I have been discovered. I print the goal sheet right from gc.com .. copy it at 50% to make the nice small ones .. write the tracking number on the back and then laminate them. I have been doing it for several years now.
I have a heck of a time reading some of the geocoin tracking numbers when I am out on the trails so I started doing that to help. I record the numbers of what I am leaving and picking up .. the larger numbers have helped me greatly.
I have been buying the lamination rolls in bulk as well as the small baggies I put them in. |
