First, thanks to the geocoin committee for taking up this great suggestion. The geocoin committee is an empowered committee, and right now the plan is for the geocoin committee to look into this, and forward a reccomendation for action to the board.

Second, thanks to Barry for making this suggestion. Let me know if you want to be added to the geocoin committee to work on this project.

Third, if the geocoin committee and the board gives this proposal the green light, you can count me personally in on this. I might even get some for Zumette.

I've been considering ordering some pathtags. A WGA back would definitely be the impetus that would cause me to pull the trigger.

This motion has been approved by the Board of Directors:

Whereas many WGA members have interest in making Pathtags and have shown interest in a custom WGA tag back.

Whereas, the 2010 WGA Pathtag sale was extremely successful.

Whereas the 2010 Geocoin Committee has reviewed this program and recommends that the WGA board move ahead with the Pathtags back program.

Be it resolved that the WGA move ahead with a new Pathtag fundraiser program allowing anyone who orders a Pathtag from Pathtags.com to place a WGA back on their tag rather than a generic Pathtag back. There is no cost to the WGA, only to the Pathtags.com customer ordering their own Pathtag.

Be it further resolved that Barry Butrymowicz (sweetlife), a member of the 2010 Geocoin Committee, be the WGA's point of contact with Pathtags.com for creating the custom back.

Pricing details on the tag back program:
It would be .10 extra per tag for a total of $10 on a order of 100 tags, with 100% going to the WGA.

Sweetlife is working with the vendor to get the tag back in place so that you can add it to your pathtags. Watch for an update here on when it is ready for use!

Received a message from Mike at pathtags this morning.

The tagback is loaded in the system and approved, it will be turned on as soon as he receives a photo sample back from the factory, as soon as that happens he will send me a message and let us know that we can order them.

Excellent. I was just going to order my starter kit and wanted to have the WGA on the back. Great news.

Or just do a re-order with the tag back change and maybe a different metal coating....hmmm....ohh the possibilities. I ordered 150 of my first tag and over 50 are spoken for and/or in the process of trades. I can see how I'm gonna burn through these real quick. And I havent even placed one in a cache yet!

Hello all--
I've been kicking around the idea of designing a sig tag for myself and one for my daughter, and it looks like the timing is good. Having the option of the WGA logo for the back is extremely appealing to me. Think they'll have it ready so the tags can be done for Christmas?

Anxiosly waiting so I can do a reorder with maybe a metal change too. We are gonna try our tag with the Gold metal and the WGA backing.....Time never goes by fast when waiting for responses from Pathtags. Rolling Eyes

I am waiting for a email from Mike about the back being ready, I checked tonight Just for the heck of it and its not on the site yet, but our neighbor to the southwest has theirs up now IGO
