I have been trying to work through this Where I Go thing, and hope I can use the tutorial as my guide and drop in the text, pictures and data using that as my guide. I'm getting closer, at least.
Once I have a cartridge that actually opens and plays, I'll give it a go with my Oregon. Are there any others around here with different WIG enabled devices...pocket PCs, Droids, Colorados...who'd be willing to test run it? You could get a spiffy new icon (if you don't already have it, that is) if you can help me test it before going live.
Also, if I get to that point, do I just put my cartridge on the WIG site, then wait for the tests to be successful and list it on gc.com? I'd like to have the thing run for everyone who gives it a try, rather than experience lots of frustration, as we have on a couple that weren't quite ready for Broadway.
No hurry. I'm still running through my text and such. Thanks. |

That'd be great, I forgot about Blackberry. I'm trying to input all my stuff now. I guess after that I do the emulator thing. I hope I can figure this stuff all out. Thanks! |

I may just have to give up on this. Worked through a bit of the cartridge building and all seems fine. Go to open it up and I can't. Some long involved error message.
It's frustrating...I think I've got a nice little rustic road tour of our town set up, gathered everything I need and keep running up against stuff like this. Sometimes I think the folks at gs get excited about some concept, promote it as a flash in the pan, then don't build it up so that when the rest of us catch up, we can work on these things without tears. Maybe next spring if Conman has another event, we can make the trek with all my info and build one there. Sorry this isn't working out for the locals, but it's just too annoying to have that keep happening. Every...single...time. |

Ok, I found it on my own. It is called WhereYouGo and can be found in the app market. |
