How do I get the time to change on my posts? My computer has updated itself to go back one hour for the time change, but on WGA, my visits and posts are still on daylight savings time. |

Think this worked before
> Click on "Edit Profile" (yep, right up there.)

> Locate the "Timezone" drop down box, and change it to "GMT - 6 hours"
> Click on "Update" at the bottom of the page.

Yep - It's so much "easier" to have all the members change their settings instead of changing the server time. |

Sorry that I missed this. Should be fixed now.
This was not a deliberate action to make things more difficult for our members as previously suggested.
Hmmm... The server time is set corrctly and to the right TZ. The correct setting in User Info is GMT +6. I don't ever recall having to change that before. Then again, I never look at the timestamp of forum posts...
If post times are showing up an hour off, follow HP3's instructions in the second post of this thread. |

Thanks, huffinpuffin2! This worked. It may seem unimportant to have the time correct, but you never know when you will need an alibi. |

I have changed my preferences so that the time shows up correctly when I'm logged in. If I'm not logged in and just cruising, the time still shows up an hour ahead. |

It's interesting that the profile setting seems to default to a time zone that Wisconsin is not in. |
