Good news!! With the change in the weather, you won't have to worry about falling into the stream- it's most likely all iced up! |

Maybe I should place another cache in the area just in case it's needed. The 5th installment could be M*A*S*H. |

Tentatively the weekend of 1/29 for Eau Claire, plus there is a Puzzle Workshop event in MN that I was thinking of hitting that weekend. GC2HPXH |

So it looks like the weekend of Jan 29th/30th I'll be in Eau Claire. Proabably later Sat or Sun would be best time for me to go after these. Anyone that wants to meet up is welcome, just shoot me a message so we can get contact #s. |

In addition to the T5s on Dells Pond (GC23D8N), and the 2 on Lake Altoona GC242W1, there are also 3 new T5s on Lake Eau Claire. These are 20 miles east of Eau Claire, and I have not gone for these myself yet. See: GC2KRHN.
There is also one on the Chippewa River, "Sea Fun" that I have never tried. See: GC1VYWZ. The river flow is steady there, and though KSpud did it in winter, I think it a bit more risky than I want. I would just caution anyone going after that one, that it could be quite sketchy.
All the others should be very safe in late January. Lake Altoona you can drive most of the way on the ice if you want. Dells Pond you cannot, but it is safe to walk on. Lake EC, I have not driven on myself yet, but people who live there tell me people are driving on it now, so those may be drive ups as well, though I am not sure about that.
