Winter event Committee volunteers needed

The WGA winter event will again be held at the UW-Waukesha Field Station, Waterville. The event will be held February 26, 2011 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Looking for a few volunteers to assist with planning and developing this committee. We need a few now for planning, and will solicit more as it gets closer.

As this gets closer, I would like to make the request for volunteers again. So far we have had no volunteers, and for any event to be a success, it will call for volunteer efforts.

Many hands make for light work, so I hope that several can volunteer. It should be a lot of fun.

Thanks Bill and Dave. It's going to take a few more folks to help make this a successful event, so if you have time, just state your intentions and we'll find the perfect job for you!

I believe the board did a pretty nice job handling the event on their own last year. What needs/changes are seen for this year? More chili, but what else?

Two teams contacted me so far asking how to pay for the event. I told them that there would be a link soon to the WGA store for the event fee. I hope that was the right answer.

Thanks for offering to help. Much appreciated. Hope to get details worked out soon. So far we just have you volunteered to help, and we had hoped to get more local support for this event.

I'm starting grad school soon, so I'm a little apprehensive about that, but I'll help if I can.
