I have Trend Micro. About three days ago it has been blocking the WGA site saying it is dangerous. I have added the site to the acceptable sites but every page I try to go to is blocks and says it is dangerous. Also the layout of the site is all screwed up on my laptop. At work everything is fine, it is at home with Trend Micro. Any help on how to correct this would be great. |

We are working on getting this resolved with Trend Micro. They have our site listed as "malicious", which it is not.
Trend Micro is the ONLY security program that has us listed as anthing but "safe". As soon as they re-evaluate this site, the warnings will stop. |

For now, open the Trend Micro control panel (you should be able to double click on the TM icon in the task bar). Select "Internet and Email controls." Under "Protection against web threats" click "Settings."
click "approved websites," then "Add." Then add the following:
http://www.wi-geocaching.com
http://www.wi-geocaching.com/*
That should do it. |

Yep, that did it. I thought I added the website but I must of done something else. Thanks for the help and I hope that Trend Micro can see that the site is malicious sometimes. |

I have the same problem with my work laptop running Trend Micro OfficeScan. I have sent them a message the past few times I tried to connect and still have not heard back from them.
I can not find the trend control panel on the system so far but I'll keep looking. Double clicking on the toolbar icon just brings up the Office Scan console not the control panel. I may have to see if I can log in as an admin to see if I can find the control panel. |

Is anyone else still having this problem?
I was not able to access the site last night from home but can get to it now here at work. Same computer, different provider. At home I have Road Runner, but I don't know who our provider is here at work.
Trend Micro OfficeScan is the only thing I have on my computer. I don't have the Trend Micro Control panel.
I'm wondering if I should be running this by Road Runner support. |
