No! Just put a needs archived log on it and treat yourself to a free ammo box in 31 days. |
It's a ammo box? It was a peanut butter type jar back in the day. |

Maybe an LCG temp replacement?
Nah, then it would have been a film can and you'd probably still find the original cache when you went there anyway. |

Read the logs and you'll discover why it morphed from a plastic PG jar into an ammo can... and if you know the history of this poster and that owner, you'll get some, if not all, of the subtle humor therein.
Stopped by today to see what the condition of the can was to discover that it has already been "rescued"... |

Well, I remember your log, but I believe you deleted it in your "I'm deleting my logs on all the puzzle caches I found but didn't solve" frenzy. I wasn't gonna say nuthin' but... |

Well that explains why I can't find a S|S log for this one. |

| I'd suggest ignoring this one, and any others by this Team. Let them fade into obscurity like their owners who still find time to find some, but have no time to maintain their failing and rotting caches nor EVER respond to any requests for help or adoption. Many would agree this is a pure shame since a majority of theirs are creative and worthwhile in concept. But the stain and smell of a delinquent and silent owner is hard to overcome. |
Well elucidated Alex.

I remember someone searching for this and then realizing he was so close he was quite literally one top of it during the winter.
I added a needs archived note to the cache with the text from my email to the owner's (TBB).
The box is thawing nicely. Glad no one ever left a TB there. |

It is not. How do I know? I went back to grab it myself since it was me who put out the replacement ammo can in the first place. Gotta_run is right, however, my rather eloquent and sarcastic log of that LCG replacement was long ago erased along with all of my Bear Bear "found it" logs last fall.
TBB is one of 3 cache placing teams whose finds I wiped clean from my slate of finds as my own reflection of the level of respect they have for the sport and geocaching ethics in gerneral.
Made me feel good anyway... |

I offered to buy WA coffee so I could sign the log. Maybe we'll have to make this an unofficial "event" so everyone can sign that needs to. |

The cache should have been left there until Archived. If it is still missing someone should have a reviewer disable it. |

I think WA took it home to "de-ice" it based on his description. |
