Just wondering, what # group site is reserved?

And on that same note, how many groups can fit on the reserved site? We never have done a group camp trip before. Thanks. |

The campout is in May, and I would expect the cache page with all information to be available no sooner than February. Stay tuned for details, as some of these questions are yet to be worked out.
Those interested in helping work out the answers to these questions and plan the event, may PM me if they wish, and we will add you to the Campout Committee. Those who have already volunteered, please note that we have not yet set up the Campout committee, so you have not been forgotten.

just a quick note that the limits on the group sites are 50 people per site and we are looking at two group sites (3 & 4) which are next to each other. |

We checked out the group sites last time we were in the park and were hoping 3 and 4 would be the choice. They also have the best pit toilet which is close. 5 is already reserved and 1 and 2 aren't very nice so I wouldn't wait too long before making the reservation. |

We are going to need some numbers for the group camping so I will start a new thread regarding that now. |

Having camped on all of the groups sites in recent years, I agree that #3 & 4 are the prime choice. And also knowing how quickly these fill up, I'd suggest haste in getting the reservation in. If somebody wants to count heads in May, I'm sure a payment adjustment woould be accepted if the early estimate is off.

You can cancel a site for a charge of $15 with the rest of the fee refunded. I would just go ahead and reserve then like Gramps says. I know if you miss on them and have to go with #1 and #2 we would then go to the family campground. #1 and #2 are not as nice as is the pit toilet in that area. |

#4 is nicer than #3. #3 is in an open field. #4 is at the edge of the woods and has a nice campfire area. |
