We will be adding the 1001 to the list as it is part of the target series. However, while you're welcome to do whatever you like, it is not Team Badger's mission to "grab" any caches along the way. The target began and continues to be the Geocaching 101-901 series, with the only addition being the 1001 cache.
When Team Badger plans an outing there are several people involved in deciding which caches to do as well as planning the dates and meeting times. These outings are always carefully thought out before being posted.
Once we finish those originally chosen, we have been known to do others in the area. Until then...please plan to stick to the mission series.
Thanks,
MB

Yes, SIR!
Having a plan, and sticking to it, is always the best way to go. |

Commander, Major,
Remember that we are being joined by several rookies on their first Team Badger mission so allowances need to be made for rookie SNAFUs.
Because of the presence of rookies, I will have the supplies necessary for the Team Badger xHAxINGx initiation ceremony. I am having trouble finding the right kind of tar though.

don't worry about finding the right kind of tar. i'm sure you'll find some suitable substances during some parts of the wildlife series......it gets pretty mucky in spots. |

The caching gods are with me on this one as I usually work on Sundays and now have most of the day off and can join the group. |

Due to a very last minute cancellation of a previously scheduled event, Sean Connery and the Bond Girl will be able to attend. Looking forward to a fun day. |

Looks like there was a couple that just did this series. If you need a little help you could give them a call. I'm sure they would be glad to give a clue or two. Just a thought. |

Fortunately Team Badger has a history of bringing together the best cachers in our area. With so many talented "troops" along I have the utmost confidence we won't be needing any clues from previous finders.
It is unfortunate however that the aforementioned couple, in thier haste to one-up the team, didn't have the same recon intelligence as us, thus missing out on the newest addition to the series Geocaching-1001.
Team Badger has always been, and will continue to be, more about the camaraderie, having a good time, and making great memories. We choose our locations more for the journeys than for the finds. It's too bad some people will never understand that. But thanks for the thought anyway.

Did you ever think that maybe the aforementioned couple may have had a day off, maybe they just wanted to do some good hard caches, not get one up on Team Badger! Just in case you have forgotten, they are a member of Team Badger as well as myself! We were there at the start of the team. Also you seem to forget that Jeff is the one that started Team Badger, NOT CB! Oh yeah, everyone, even Team Badger could use a clue now and then. But thanks for the responce anyway. C.O. |
