I'm not in any way trying to post this for commercial reasons, but I have used Dell computers for several years now and am very happy with them.

If you have been considering a new PC- here's a deal that you should really jump on-

DellSB - Dimension 2400 with the Faster Pentium® 4 2.66GHz, 256MB DDR SDRAM, 80GB 7200RPM Hard Drive, and 48x CD-RW Drive for Only $379 after Rebate with Free Shipping!

Dell is running $50 rebate for this system which means less initial cost for you! A solid PC for work, word processing, email, this is the fastest base processor they`ve ever offered for just $379 after rebate. It`s a Pentium 4 2.66Ghz processor this time, instead of a mere 2.4Ghz Celeron processor. They`re throwing in a free upgrade to an 80GB hard drive, a free upgrade to the 48x CD-RW drive included, and a free upgrade to 256MB of DDR SDRAM. Built in sound, 10/100 Ethernet, and a 1 year in-home warranty (yeah, they actually come to your house or business if you want) are all included! Here`s how:

Start by going through the following link to Dell Small Business Systems:
Click on SUPERCHARGE YOUR DIMENSION AND SAVE UP TO $280! there along the left side of the page.
Click on Customize It under the Dimension 2400 for $379 (NOT the $339)
The options for the lowest cost are NOT selected so be sure to check the following:
SPECIAL OFFER! 256MB at 333Mhz DDR SDRAM for the price of 128MB
McAfee Security Center w/VirusScan, Firewall and Privacy, 90-day trial (recommended over Norton)
FREE UPGRADE! 80GB Ultra ATA/100 7200RPM Hard Drive
FREE! Single Drive: 48x CD-RW Drive
Here are some options you may want to consider, though it may raise the cost:
Pentium® 4 Processor at 2.80GHz with 533MHz front side bus [add $30 or $1/month]
SPECIAL OFFER! 512MB at 333Mhz DDR SDRAM for the price of 256MB [add $60 or $2/month]
SAVE $50! Single Drive: 48x CD-RW / DVD-ROM Combo Drive [add $59 or $2/month]
Scroll to the bottom and click on Continue
Scroll to the bottom and click on Continue
Scroll to the bottom and click on Add to cart
Finish checking out. Shipping is free. Send in the $50 rebate! (expires 4/14/04)

We bought a Dell last year as well and are very happy with it. (Just thought I'd add my two cents.)

That does look like a great deal. Thanks for the info! I'll be passing it on to a couple other folks I know.

I think they are messed up for recommending McAfee over Norton but oh well. I have bought a couple Dells over the past 2 years and they are great.
