We're heading out on a family vacation in December and I'm looking for some puzzles to take along with to solve on the airplane and in the hotel. This means NO internet access to look up any information. Last time I took along the Zoes Suduko series from Appleton.

Options begin with other Suduko puzzles, word search style, etc. I'm primarily interested in the Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay areas. Feel free to add any suggestions you may have.

Have you looked at the ones by MonkeyHunters? Middleton Matrix and Geological Puzzle? If you can get to WSQ A Grave Mistake before your trip, you can look at the rest in the series on the plane, too. The first two came easy, but that last one....I'm still missing something, even though I know I'm on the right track!

HEY! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Razz Laughing

But I was going to suggest that, as well as rcflyer's two and Middleton Matrix. And if you're just into puzzle solving to keep you entertained, you can add some more to your "Solved, Not Found" pile by looking at Cheezehead's puzzles. We have one up there, too: GC28C5B

And for the Puffins' next flight, "When Granny Met Roy" *might* be out soon, maybe even in time for CJ's trip. Twisted Evil

As far as I know, the maker of Granny Squares is the only one to solve it.
And they did it by reading and following the hints.

Although they are relatively new, the boys and I are slowly developing some Math Puzzle Caches in the Madison Area...the series is titled We Love Math! So far there are two algebra caches and one geometry cache.

I have a 16+ hour car trip coming up so this thread is going to come in handy.

Lot's of printouts made. I'm taking about 2/3 of these with as well as some others I grabbed from the southern Milwaukee area where I have some others solved.

You guys know me too well apparently. Nobody suggested anything easy and gave me all the good mind benders.
