um...no? I have smilies on caches that I own, but I adopted them after I found them.

Just Events and the CITO that we have hosted, for an accurate count.
But not a physical cache, unless it is one I have adopted out.
I don't quite see the point of logging your own caches. Were they a tough hide for yourself?

And if your going to log your own caches, you'll need to log the DNFs on your own caches, too! Embarassed

It appears that it does happen, but we would not do that.

I have had trouble finding a few of our hides when we went to do maintenance. It took a while to find some of them and we were close to having to log a dnf, but would never log a find on one of our own.

I would never log my own cache as a find. I don't need a smiley that bad.

For the most part I wouldn't log my own, I think that seems silly. But I will confess that I've been tempted to log my challenge cache because I have met that challenge, but again, I just can't quite get myself to actually do it.

Everyone plays a little different. I personally do not log my own that I originally submitted as a cache.

I have logged as found caches that I ended up later adopting, but I found them first before I owned them.

The only way I could see someone doing that would be this: I am the hider in the family, and my other family members are under my account. IF they would go out and find it, I guess maybe then?

Personally, I don't do this - but have seen the above scenerio mentioned.

I can see people mistakenly logging their caches as a find instead of a note, I've caught myself when dropping trackables.

When I moved away from Maryland and others adopted my caches, I had a thought about logging them, but decided that was not what I was about as a cacher. I'm trying to find something when I don't know where it is.

One of those caches has been moved by the adopter, so next time I have a chance - I'm going for it! Very Happy

I've been guilty of this on occasion as well.
