I'm a little confused about the cache rescue part of the LCG. Do you need to submit a seperate report on the LCG list if you've done a cache rescue? I think I've done them before and they've shown up but this time it isn't. |

you will need to do the following to qualify for LCG points on a cache rescue
1. perform the rescue and log the action on the rescued caches Page
2. submit the LCG report
3. submit the cache rescue report
(do #2 before the #3 as if you do #3 first and don't get the LCG report in before the rescue is verified, you won't see the rescue cache on the LCG list) |

Whoops, I did #1, then #3 and now I can't do #2. I figured I should report it before I could claim it. I guess I messed that up. |

I've done that a couple times myself. Luckily the admins for it are very accomodating |

It is really hard to get this sequence right the first time....perhaps 5 bonus points should be awarded for accomplishing that feat!
Can 'we' come up with a way to further simplify/goof-proof this process? Hate to suggest something, not knowing all that occurs behind the scenes. But here goes.....
In the case of a Cache Rescue, if an 'asterisked cache's' LCG Report can only be made for a Rescue, can that 'asterisked cache' be taken off the LCG Report list, and its Report be incorporated into the filing of the Cache Rescue Mission Report itself. To clarify, looking at Labrat's example:
Do:
Step 1
Step 3 (Step 2 is now incorporated as part of this step)
Thanks for your time. |

That would only work if everyone that does a cache rescue plays the LCG. Maybe a checkbox or something.... if checked then make LCG report.
I'm not very familiar with the LCG or the CR code, so I'll have to take a look to see if I can do something like that. |

Anything that would help out those that have to keep bailing people like me out. |

I'm not sure how I managed to do it right the other two rescues I did. Or maybe I didn't and didn't get the points for it. Who knows! I'm sure I'm making more work for everyone as I mess this up. Sorry! |

And while we're on the subject, might I throw out another suggestion? Well, I'm going to anyway. I think it might be nice to have a map for the Cache Rescue missions as well if that is at all possible, like the LCG map. I need a visual aid! |

Maybe a public bookmark? That way people could just run a PQ anytime it's convenient for them and do whatever they want with it. Just a thought as this might be easier than trying to maintain a map. |

That would be great!
And thanks to Team Deejay for adding it back on the LCG list so that I could get my points. One of these days I'll figure out how all of this works, right? |

Is that why it showed up again on the CR listing? Thought perhaps you pulled the wrong container - whoops! jk |

Can I get retro credit for a container I pulled yesterday that wasn't on the list? Or should I put it back, post a "Cache Rescue" and then go remove it again? (light hearted humor) |

Do I need to put in another rule? "No Picking on Becca"? |
