Congratulations to Mister Greenthumb and Sunshine for logging their 5000th find today doing the Green County Barn Quilt series along the Sugar River State Trail.
We were tickled to join you today and hope to share in many more milestones with you in the years to come! |

Hooray for the 5K! Nice day to be out on the bike trail, but it's not exactly quilt weather!
Congratulations, Mister Greenthumb and Sunshine! |

We talked about what we would do for #5000 for several months before finally deciding on a day long adventure instead of a single cache. We had talked with froggerz almost a year ago about doing this series when they joined us for #4000 in the same area. We had a great time finding 50 of 51 in just over 6 hours. We even took a break half way through and had a cookout. Even though 50 finds in one day was a personnal high for us and froggerz too it was not about the numbers; except of course #5000. It was about enjoying the biking, caches and spending time with good friends. Our token log for #5000 ended up being GC2YE7D. |

Way fun way to get a milestone! Somehow it just seems right that Mister "Green"thumb finds a milestone with "Green" county barn quilts. Congrats to you both. |

He is not fully trained yet until he completes the GCBQ final test. That would be the west trail. It is much harder terrain than the east! Lots of nice HIGH rock cuts to mess with your GPS. |
