Granny, I lost your racer. See the note I posted on the TB's page. There is a chance that a cacher will find it but I feel horrible. So sorry. |

Mine left the valley today, in the hands of CJ. Might get that trip out east after all |

Guess I'm sorry I didn't see your first post asking for preference of placement.
My first comment when I read email was: "blank"
After I heard this multi is a 3-mile hike...
My second comment was: nice job sabotaging the TB placing in a Ranger Boy cache... which was likely to hold up movement for at least 5 months.
My third comment: oh well... if it was dropped maybe a cacher will find it before it snows. Or some kid will find a really cute "toy".
Did WGA mention a "first to go lost" prize??? |

I think that we need 'proof of loss' to make sure this is not rigged to claim the prize!
He was a cute looking TB. |

I'm sorry to hear about your lost TB. At least the cacher let you know about it, it may have easily just been unknown whereabouts if they hadn't let you know. Maybe now there can be a search party of sorts. If they did indeed lose it at Egyptian Magician, it isn't that long of a walk. I only commented about the 3 mile walk because the group of cachers at Minooka today did 3 long multi-caches, which would probably be about 3 miles. But as 2 of them are new (hidden FOR Ranger Boy by chevyole and myself and not some kind of diabolical hide BY Ranger Boy) and I know that there are several people intending to do them in the near future maybe your TB will turn up. There's still hope! |

Thanks for the update beccaday. Just as soon as my nose unstuffs and I've solved my issue with my Map62 I hope to "encourage" one of my caching friends to go after this multi. |

This TB was not going in the cache where I lost it. After we started out I asked how often this one gets found and I decided not to put it there, or anywhere in this park. It is possible it is at the next cache and I think that was Forest Patrol or Ranger in the Rasca. Sorry again. I wish I held it for Wausau. |

Sure would be nice to have a map showing the position of the racers. Makes it easier (if one were so inclined as to desire to provide assistance) to go out and grab one - whether it be in WI, or IA, or CO - if'n one were plannin' a long trip or somethin'. Just thinkin'. Just sayin'.
surprised no one has started a 'social media' campaign (yet) to get theirs around the world a couple of times.............. |
