Why do people feel compelled to make some of our caches "more winter friendly?" It didn't have that attribute, we don't want it winter friendly. Last time someone did that to the cache, the ammo can got stolen. It'a an area that has cross country skiing, trying to discourage searching during that time, too. I appreciate winter friendly as much as the next person, but sometimes, they just don't need to be placed that way.
Sorry, just had to vent. |

I believe I have moved a micro up in a pine tree a branch or 2, in advance of 2 feet of winter snow, but an ammo can? |

Well, the first one was an ammo can(silver), but went missing when someone thought they'd make it winter friendly. Now it' s a kool aid container. I know people think they're helping, but..they aren't. |

My busy day is now over. Got back about twenty minutes ago from a great storytelling performance at the theater in town. Off to bed, then maybe some more cache maintenance tomorrow... |

So I spend about five hours doing a cemetery crawl (without looking for a single cache), and all you folks can come up with while I'm gone is two measly posts??? I'm surprised the place didn't blow up from no one pushing the button enough! |
Sorry SL, I was spending the day jumping between Fall Cub Camp with 200 Cub Scouts, and a group of 14 - 18 year olds remodeling a building. Teenage boys and power tools |

Pat, We were out enjoying life and not caching, too. So no button pushing here.
Congrats on the eats, splash. |

And "Hide the container the way you found it or better" doesn't mean to hide it the way that YOU think it should have been hidden! We have our reasons for putting our caches where we put them. If you think the hide is too tough... tough! |
