After two hours exploring all things three year olds find fascinating in the dried out wetlands, my freezing bones could take it no more.
We are waiting for the furnace guy to come. The pilot doesn't stay lit. Argggh! |

Coolest things we found were milkweed pods full of fluff, wooly bear caterpillars and an itty bitty baby timber rattler. |

Surprised that the snake hasn't tried to find a hole to sleep in yet. Not going to last long in the temperatures we've had. |

I was amazed at all the fluff starting to "foam" out of the milkweed pods. The drought has them all releasing about the same time. |

We were surprised at how quickly it moved, too. It's pretty chilly out there right now. |
