I have a geocoin that I had held, then lost, for 3 years. I found it today while spring cleaning.

Can anyone move it for me if I mail it to them? I'll mail at my expense of course. I have no idea when I'll hit the trails again.
Thanks. |

of all the coins to have lost and now found, I don't think the owner would care much if it gets moving again or not. the owner has 107 of these coins in the wild, has one cache placed, and has not found any. |

Yeah I noticed the owner has not logged in for about a year. He did not even e-mail me once to move it.
I guess I'll keep it in my collection for now until I hit the trails again.
Thanks for the update, Rat. |

I think in most cases the CO would be happy to hear its safe and sound. I wouldn't worry about it, but perhaps just keep it handy and drop it in a cache you've already done as you're out and about (i.e. doesn't have to be a special caching trip to someplace new) |

If you get it to me before Friday I could move it to Minnesota, put some miles on it for you. |

In most cases yes, I agree an owner would want to know it is safe and still out there but in this case, the entire account seems to have been set up to promote that one project and advertise it. Kind of like the Jeep TBs where I doubt that Jeep Corporation logged in to see where they were. |
