We're in Hurley unexpectedly for a few days, so we made the most of the situation when we ran to Ironwood and bought authentic Stormy Kromer hats.
I got a girl one with a flower. The darn things cost 40 bucks a pop. Who knew a U.P. classic had become a yuppie/trendy thing? |

I have everything ready for tomorrow ... well, almost. I have one tripod stand that I need to position, but I probably won't need to use that one until Monday  |

Good Luck hunters.
I am leaving early for Hippie town in the morning. I will be counting the orange clad along I-94. I am hoping to grab a cache or two. |

Riding a bald tire no more and what a difference it made. Had to buy a few tubes for my upcoming trip and asked the owner if he had any free/cheap tires laying around. Didn't like when I said the word free but he checked and I was able to snag a $40 tire for $10. It just has to last till the middle of December when I can get it back home so ma and pa can offer to buy me a new set. |
