I got a notification of an FTF log on a cemetery cache in which the FTF of that cache was found while it was still dark and the cemetery most likely closed.
What, the cacher could not wait for the cemetery to open?

Smoke has been added to the smokepole and 300 grains of copper pushed in to hold it tight. Braunschweiger, onion, and mustard sandwiches are packed as is the package of chocolate pop tarts and king size special dark candy bar (all part of the ritual).
Time to prep the coffee pot for the morning. |

Well as luck would have it they've already offered to buy some. At my last race of the season (the muddy one) ma said if she had known I needed tires she would have had dad get a set. If I remember they even offered to buy some on site. Heck they even offered to buy a set for my triathlon bike ($60 per tire) but I said no because it wouldn't have been worth it with only one race left. |
