All the deer are cut up and in the freezer, except the tenderloins, which are in our bellies |

FTP standings news...
FTP hogs this time around were sandlanders ( 18 ), Vegas Gamblers and CacheNoTrace (tied with 11), BigJim60 (10), and lone_gunman (9). A special mention goes Team Black-Cat with a personal high of five FTPs in a reporting session. I think TBC is trying to keep The Squirrel from climbing any higher in the standings...
Scoring his first ever FTP this time was WStemple, now known as Lord Cadogan outside of the WGA.
With respects to zoesbrother for initiating the FTP stats, these are the OFFICIAL (according to sandlanders) FTP standings as of November 18, 2012, after 4702 pages of useless drivel (drum roll, please)--

Why does my nalgene have to still smell like hot chocolate? Ah yes because I left some hot chocolate in it for a few weeks after my Bearpaw mountain bike race. |

What are the odds??????
So Trekkin' has been wanting to place a cache that celebrates the mining history of his hometown area. We stopped at the historical society yesterday and got information on a great place for the final (it's a multi). There haven't been any caches placed up there within 20 miles since August. Spend all night when we got home tonight writing the darn thing up. The reviewer tells us we're 57 feet from a Scouting cache. It wasn't published when we left the house this morning to place it. Now we'll have to wait until we can get back up there to put it in another spot, rework the first stage and list it again. I had put in "close enough" coordinates last night to try and hold the spot.
What are the odds, I ask you????? |

What's with all the tongue hanging out of the deers mouths? Are they tired or just drunk? |
