Added three caches to the found list.
There is a little time for a football before going to the in-laws. Dad and I have a date for leftovers and Jets vs. Patriots tonight.
Have a great day all. |

Was that a Tom Dooley's apple square, CJ?

No, it's homemade. Kind of like an apple pie, but made on a sheet pan. Bottom crust, apple layer, top crust, and then icing on the top.
More like an apple bar than a traditional apple square perhaps, but the original recipe calls them "Apple Squares". I'm not going to argue over what they're called though. I just know they're mighty tasty. |

Apple Squares and Starbucks Sumatra. AHHHHH! Life is good.
But now that I just ate a huge apple square, how will I find room for turkey and all the fixin's in 1.5 hours? Maybe I'll just skip the bird and go right for the apple squares. |

I relented and had Trekkin' pick up good store bought dinner rolls. I decided it all doesn't have to be homemade from scratch. Maybe in a few years, I can get to the point where I don't cook any of it!
Honestly, I'm quite amazed that this houseful of pumpkin pie lovers has left them alone....so far! I've never taken this risk of baking them ahead for that very reason. |

Wife and daughter are planning their Black Friday shopping strategy: Younkers at midnight, then Bath and Body Works, then they're going to Perkins for breakfast, then Menards at 5:00 ... sorry, this thing has gotten out of control. |

People are looking at me a little funny today. Must be all the orange duct tape I've got on my bike. |
