How can I keep the same order of finds in GSAK as my find list in GC? |

The only way to do that consistantly is to download a MyFinds PQ every once in a while. That should make the data the same on both systems. The next thing to do is to sort on the Found by me column.
Hope that helps.

It is mixing up the ones found on the same day. |

I log my finds through GSAK and it keeps them in the order that I find them. Then I use a macro to number them and that way I always know the order I found them in. It makes it nice if you want to check which cache was a certain milestone. |

Anyway to get them in order, other than delete and enter them again by hand? I tried renumbering them but it appears that the program doesn't let you do that. |

HMMM? Mine seems to stay in order, but I wonder if it's because I upload them to GC.com using field notes which adds a full date/time stamp down to the second. I wonder if you enter them directly on gc.com it might only capture the date (not the time?) which could cause all the finds from a certain day to be technically the same.
I'll have to look in the raw XML data in the My Finds PQ and see what it actually sends down. |

Can I download more than one database from GSAK to my GPS? I have a separate database of under 75 caches for each leg of our trip and I want to load them all on the GPS before we leave. |

depending on your GPS, On Garmin Oregon you can have up to 20 different GPX files, with a total of 5000 caches. you would have to check what the limits are on your device |

I have a Garmin Dakota 20 (1000 caches) and I have about 700 I want to load. So I can just load all the databases just like I would 1 database and they won't erase the ones already in there? Don't think I have any duplicates but it should only save one copy of the cache. |

If for some reason you can only add one DB, you can create a single, overall 'Master Trip' DB which contains all of your caches.
To combine existing DBs, create a Master, and then open and copy (combine) each DB into the Master,
Click on
DATABASE
MOVE/COPY WAYPOINTS
SELECT your Master DB as the DESTINATION DATABASE
SELECT COPY waypoints
SELECT GO.
Do this with all of the DBs you wish to combine.
One advantage of an overall DB is that you can plot and see your entire trip within one map......or do any other sort of data manipulation you'd like. |

I did this if I had to go to more than one area involving different PQ's. My GPS can only hold 500 waypoints, but I put 400 on it as I need room for manual waypoints such as stages of a multi.
Someday I hope to get a GPS that holds more or at least has an SD card slot so I can swap out databases. |

Thanks guys. I did a practice on with some PQs I have for WI and they loaded fine from GC. Will try HP2s direction later to load all the ones for the trip. |

Now if only there was a way to make a spreadsheet too. I can make a text doc but haven't figured out the spreadsheet. |
