Got home Tuesday afternoon and found out that the History Channel's American Pickers, Mike and Frank, were picking at one of our cache sites. Unfortunately they weren't geocaching, but it was pretty neat anyway to have them at Dr. Evermore and Lady Eleanor cache (GC9E5E). There is so much for them to look at there.
We were not allowed in while the filming was underway, but the episode may be on air in about 4 months.
Last year we visited LeClaire, Iowa, home of the Pickers. We got a DNF on the cache there, but did get Mike to sign our DNF page. |

love the show and love the cache!
please keep us informed as to the air date.
I can't wait to see what they found interesting there. |

That is so cool! We love that show and heard they were in the Ironwood MI area recently, but haven't heard if they did any filming while there. Do let us know when the episode will air...it would be our luck that it's the one we'd miss, otherwise.
I don't know how they can pick just one thing from there. Hopefully they didn't take a shine to the cache! |

Still waiting to see this one air, or has it already? I have scanned the episode descriptions and could not find it? |

I wonder if they're getting close? Last night's episode had them in Da Yoop and at the EAA Museum. |

Trekkin' is reading his hometown paper, which had a little bit on the Pickers episode the other night. Woody lives in or near Wakefield MI, not too far at all from where Trekkin' and Mr. Timberline Echoes grew up. |

Neat! I happened to stop there and logged it on Friday Dec. 14th. I'd love to see a close up of the log if they filmed it. It would be neat to see my name. This did happen last winter, as a local TV station filmed a high school class caching. I received several calls saying the bright blue ink with my name stuck out. Time will tell! |

That was cool. I only saw the last 10 minutes of their segment, though. |

The B&B in Nahma MI had a viewing party tonight. Wonder if the whole town came. |
