Monthly Point leader prizes

In reviewing the current rules for the LCG and the desire to recognize those who play the game, I was looking at Rule #7 and from what I remember is that for perhaps the last two years, the monthly leader has not been awarded anything, though the year end top 5 have been recognized at the year end event.

If the LCG playing community would like the monthly awards to be given for 2013, I will start out by offering prizes for the first quarter of 2013 if there are others who will also donate to fill the remaining months.

Again, If by mid January 2013, others will donate monthly prizes for May-Dec (I am doing Jan-Apr, others can donate as many or few as they like), I will uphold my end of the bargain and send a geo-prize to the monthly point leader. In the event of a tie for the month, Multiple prizes will be awarded. (keep that in mind if you are donating.)

Hmmmm, getting close to the end of January.

My offer is still on the table but if nobody else wants to offer a prize for a month or two, I hold it at my option to withdraw the offer.

So, how about it????

Besides donating, you would also be responsible for getting any prizes to the winners.

I'll pony up for a couple of months.

okay, looks like 6 months are covered, anyone else?

Usual prize is a geocoin or other geocaching item.
could be a premade cache container, a personally carved letterbox stamp, $5 gift card, use your imagination.

Just think what Huffinpuffin2 might like and offer it up Smile

how about July? Hopefully some others will pony up, perhaps at the meeting. Keep us in the loop! Don't do that many, but it's a fun game.
