Have a good night. I am charge of the grill and rum consumption tonight The younger kids in our clan are heading to Disney on Ice. The older ones are grillin' and chillin'. I was elected grill man and I don't mind. I really did not want to be elected chauffeur or chaperone for the children.

I broke one of my wings today on a stupid 1.5/1.5. Ice knocked me straight down..fractured my right arm, just below the ball joint. The other part is jammed up inot the ball. In a tight sling on my dominant arm..find out next week if it needs surgical repair . . .

You know, life fractures us all into little pieces. It harms us, but it's how we glue those fractures back together that make us stronger.

Left Amherst Junction at 7:45 this morning. Got to Antigo and started having stomach cramps, so I stopped at a Kwik Trip to use the bathroom. Stopped in Mole Lake to use the bathroom. Got to Crandon about 10:10 and stopped to use the bathroom ... beginning to see a trend? Called Barry and told him I wasn't going to be able to do the Eagle Source trek Headed toward Rhinelander and did a few P&G's there and in the Tomahawk area.

Decided to save the rest of the Tomahawk Hunger Games series for spring when there aren't big piles of snow covering the guard rails at the dead ends.
