Wondering when the suite mate is going to shut up. He's lucky I can't understand because I assume he's talking in Korean. |

Great night.
I took it easy with my new gal Lola Bell, so I am not PWI. Grilling was a great idea. We just did burgers and brats with pasta salads and chips. It really felt like summer with the chilled rum drinks. We were going to make smores after the kids returned, but alas they were too tired. |

It's amazing what a little bit of snow can do for an area. Tried to find a trail today that didn't have skiers or snowmobiles on it. I found a nice long desolate plowed town road with zero traffic. Discovered that the area was logged since the last time I was back there. Got the creative juices flowing!
Got back from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet with my dad and wife. Didn't win nottin'. I thought I had one 357 revolver, cuz I had the queen of hearts, just the wrong queen of hearts. Dad did spend some of my inheritance tonight to on the silent auction. He bought himself some Club Seats to a Brewer game for this Summer. My wife a really cool maple carved wood burl, and me a Stevens 20. ga. O/U Shotgun. Whooo Hooo! I have been wanting a 20. O/U for a long time. I didn't even know at first. I was busy dropping raffle tickets into buckets when Katie and dad hit the table. All my wife said was that I would really love of have that gun, and dad started bidding on it. It's real purdy. I guess I'll have to load up some shells with some rock salt in case there happens to be any DSK sighting in the future. |
