Just had the Prez stop by and say HI. Shocked Cool

I think it's listed in his duties that he has to look for all of the COTM winning hides. Barn or Bet?

So I can expect him to stop at GC24TRB on his way home? Laughing

My Boo Boo. I thought it was to a point where most wouldn't get too offended.

Toss this together with CJ's face after the accident and there's something to showcase

Three days ago you could not see the incision line. It really does not hurt anymore. It is just a bit itchy.

BBB, glad to hear it's healing. Supposedly itching is a sign of that.

My older son continues to have the world's worst luck. We were awakened last night about 12:30AM by the LEO at our door. A drunk driver plowed into the back of his new car he loves, which he just finished fixing up last week. Almost no damage to the driver's new Cherokee. His car he's had a whole month....totaled.

I wish his luck would start to turn around. Still not the terrible luck of comkelp and his family. He lost his mother to hypothermia when she wandered away from her secure assisted living facility somehow. So sad.

Sooner or later, things need to start looking up, right???? Hope y'all are having a nicer weekend than some are.

Just to clarify....my son was fast asleep in bed when this happened. We all were. The drunk smashed his *parked* vehicle.

That happened to my daughter's car when she was living in La Crosse. Never found the driver of the other vehicle. From the rust on the street the police figured that the front bumper fell off, they picked it up and took it with them.

Why can't those that ice fish clean up their crap? Lots of trash on the lake because of them.

They were right behind this guy, so I'm sure he spent the night in the pokey. He's the brother of a former roommate's boyfriend, too. The good part is they did find him.

We now have 2 kayaks in our household. Menards is running a basic model on sale for $168 with an 11% mail-in rebate making it $149. Includes the paddle also which I figure is about $25 so that makes the kayak about $125.

Not a bad deal and now my oldest daughter is planning to kayak with me which should make some great memories this summer.

Your new cache, CJ... kayak or canoe? We have a canoe, if that would get us close without too much swamp-stompin'. (but not until spring or summer)
