Put the softtop on the Jeep this afternoon. I guess we can expect a ten inch snow fall soon.

I'll be waiting a few more weeks before I make the switch.

Hitting the Badlands in two weeks, just wanted to be sure I had the time and some help in getting the hard top off.

Bring lots of water, lots. There's just something about the sun reflecting off of that hard, light-colored earth that makes you need water like you wouldn't believe. Have fun! The badlands are cool.

Clarification. I am heading to the Badlands 4X4 park in Attica, IN. Not the Badlands in South Dakota. However, I will still bring plenty of water. Razz

I'm working with the local Girl Scouts on their geocaching badge this afternoon. One of the requirements is to define certain "geolingo". Some of these I have never heard of:

C. navigation nuggets
G. chromes
J. golf ball

Is golf ball, just the junk swag that people find in the parks and drop in the cache. That is the only thing I can think of.

I was thinking that a golf ball was a cache hidden in a hollow, as in "It's in the hole"

Shocked Are you giving your kids away????? Shocked Shocked wink

I wish. Break has been too long.

I did not find someone else's shattered dream to move into today. There are a lot of foreclosures in this neck of the woods.

Trying something new for this Brewers season. I have been invited to the game tonight. So, I will be there to root on Kyle Lohse in his Brewers debut. Let's hope this breaks their loosing streak.

I stand corrected. Mint Oreo not Mint Explosion but I passed in favor of Taco Bell. Then I went 0/2 on the first hunt for grave markers and 2/3 at the next cemetery. Found a "chirp" in the second cemetery but I don't have the equipment to get the coords from it. Wondering if the CO will give me the final coords though considering I "found it".

Very interesting wandering when you're not looking for a cache but reading the names on every stone looking for a specific one. "Vowels", "Graves", etc. Also interesting to see prevalent family names that repeat many times in these rural spots.

Which direction should I point my Oregon? I can then turn on Chirp and text you the coords.

Pretty quiet in Rosendale tonight...unfortunately.

At 4 PM, a man barricaded himself in his home, poured gasoline inside, then eventualy lit a match. No traffic here for the last 5 hours, as North Main Street (Hwy. 26) is closed, pending investigation. A bit sad for the community, as early reports say he died in the blaze.
