Not sure but I think it is going to happen Monday while we do some caches in Waupun if it hasn't happened already! |

Marc_54140 hit the 1000 mark today at 11:30 while visiting the Battle with Fallen Timbers cache! Glad that I could be there for this milestone! |

We have been checking his count 2 and 3 times a day since Friday. We saw the 996 on Saturday and were going to post that if Marc held off any longer. Kudos Mr. 54140

Always nice to welcome another person/team to the 1000 milestone.
I am sure there will be many others before the year is out.
Congratulations! |

Thanks to all. It certainly fesl like I accomplished a lot.
Do I get to pontificate a little?
Went with Miata to the Waupun area where he had not cached before. We did a total of 25, with 2 no finds. I collected 6 new caches, for a total of 1002.
It was interesting going back to caches I had done before, and seeing what I remembered. Sometimes I could drive right up to them, others times not. Sometimes I could remember the container, but not where it was. Others times nothing.
Our two DNF's where caches I had done before, and remembered where they had been hidden, so we knew they were missing.
Last Thursday I went to Milwaukee with my Dad and did a series (State of Mind)down there. We drove around in parts of the metro area sneither one of us had been in before. And probably could not find again!
Saturday I went out on my own, to try and reach 1000. I got to 996, and West Bend, when it started raining. So...........
Way back when I thought getting to 100 was going to be a major accomplishment. Once there, and with the passage of time, it did not seem like much any more. Watching the list of members here in Wisconsin, and how fast they pass the 100 mark, it looks like 1000 (the Millenium Club) is going to be the big thing now.
Well, the stres and struggle is over with. I need a vacation. I think I'll go to Arizona and ........ well, geo-cache!
Thanks agin, especially to everyone who put out the caches I found here in Wisconsin.
Oh, BTW, veni, vidi, sivi.

Congrats and welcome to the 1000 club. When you think about it though, nothing's really changed. We are just all out, getting our exercise, becoming one with mother nature, having fun and making it an adventure. Now, on to the next 1000. Tami |
