Confused So because I live here where the cache bash is, I want to turn off the notifications of found it logs because my cell phone is about to blow up. However, I can't find anything on the gc.com page about that. The notifications page is for stuff like to be notified if one is archived, but I can't find anything about turning off notifications when someone finds my caches. Help!!!! Shocked

I don't think you can turn them off.

Sure you can. Go to your profile page. Scroll down until you see "set up notifications". Click that and uncheck what you do not want to receive.

Oh, you mean your own caches. If you are concerned about your phone, then look at your phone settings to turn off your email notifications. I get e-mail on my phone but I have it set not to notify me of new mail. I grab it myself when I'm ready.

You can't turn off Owner notifications. You could set up a dummy email account for the time being until the Bash is over and send your notifications there.

L Dove is not the only cache owner in WB. Glad I live in an area that is not visited much. It would suck to see 1000 e-mails a day between owner notifications and other cache notifications.

I don't have any in West Bend but I've got those caches in Pike Lake. I'm a little concerned about this as well...

Can you put your own caches on an ignore list?

I'd probably disable my own caches prior to something like this to slow the incoming messages.

Also - most email providers offer some kind of rule setup so you can pre-filter all the emails and not even see them show up in your account or shuffle them to some other folder. I've been experimenting with this to put all the "Found" logs in one folder and all others for my caches in a separate folder to quickly find the DNF's vs Found emails.
