We had the opportunity to watch as Bill chalked up a "Done it" at the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon. An awesome achievement in my eyes since I couldn't run around the block without making a 911 call. Kudos, Bill we are all proud of your achievement. |

Congratulations on running and completing the marathon. You're quite a clever cachemeister/geocacher as well. |

Nice job! I'm a "retired" marathon runner. Have completed 2 in my younger years and have no desire to do them again. Way to go the distance! Tami |

Way to go, Bill! This is truly a noteworthy accomplishment. How many caches did you find along the way?
By the way, I believe a geocacher won the men's division of the marathon. We met Shane Carr while geocaching last year at T&B's "Diamond in the Rough" cache. He was there with wzbt03, who (I think) is Shane's father-in-law. Do I have my facts correct, Jeff? |

A big thank you to T & tb who took time out of their Sunday to come down to the lakefront to cheer me on. I can't begin to thank them enough...it means a lot to me that you guys did that.
I had great support from Mrs. Traker in this goal. It took a year's worth of training and many hours of lost cache time to achieve this goal but in the end it was worth it.
I completed it in 4 hours 45 min and 55 sec...and did not try to find a cache along the way...but kept thinking about it as I went past some very familiar parks!!
Thanks again everyone!! |
