And now I believe it's time to go place that cache. The sun is shining through my office window and it actually feels warm, so it must be nice outside right?

Cache placed.
Munzee captured.
2 sights (via Sighter) failed to be captured.

It is stinking cold out there and I'm glad to be back inside from my lunchtime walk.

HMMM? Did the squirrel conversation bleed over from the book of friends site?

I don't recall seeing Mrs S. posting anything here about the beginning of the situation, but a number of us obviously know the backstory. Perhaps in the world of social networking we've all just blurred the useless drivel here considering it equally as drivel as the book of friends.

Yea, I don't know about this convo either.

Hey, Chef Tony! We found a new use for your Miracle Blade knife! You know... the one that cuts right through a can of frozen orange juice and saws holes in drywall? Yep, that knife will cut in half the frozen carcass of a squirrel that ends up wedged in the blades of a snowblower. Smooth as butter!

Becca, you should be able to see it on my FB page. But CJ is right: I never posted about the squirrel incident here. And those privy to my FB account should know that we didn't cook the squirrel but threw the parts into the empty lot behind us where the crows feasted on them this morning.

I think I can safely say that no one has ever made that post on Facebook before.

I was reminded by Mrs. RT on that post of the WGA fall picnic at Roche-A-Cri SP in 2010 that happened to coincide with the start of hunting season. Large family groups camp in the park that weekend, and the day's take is brought back to the camp for preparation by the women elders.

The RT family was camped across the way from one group, and that evening their boys (now RT13 and RT 6) were treated to a lesson on preparing game, particularly how to skin squirrels.

A very memorable camping trip for the family...

Nice, BigJim. Very good pic at a pretty spot. Does anyone remember that pre-craphas look? Confused

I think I need to make a bookmark of caches I might want to visit. Every time someone talks about one, or I check on a cache page, or I see scenes like this one, I should make a note of it. I always forget about these spots after a while.

This one I took from the Interstate near Tomah during cranberry harvest time. I entered it in the Central Wisconsin State Fair and won a blue in the agriculture division.
