I would love to join you and say THANKS to everyone who had a hand in making this Picnic a huge Success. THANKS!
The registration went smoothly and we were done in a timely manner. We did the longer hikes first while we were all fresh. Broke for lunch at around 1:20pm. Thanks for the yummy food everyone. Then we finished them all except for the final stage of the 14 stage multi. We didn't want to miss the picture (since we had missed the campout picture by 5 minutes). Got our picture taken with everyone. Then we went out to finish the multi and to collect it for Jeff. It was great to see everyone again and to meet some newbies. Tami
Still didn't get our fill of geocaching so we stopped for another 7 on our way home. |

Just a note to thank everyone who worked to put together this fun event. This is our kind of caching, out in the woods, on the trails. (When we were on the trails). Met a lot of great people and it was nice to chat with them and locate some of the caches with them. We especially enjoyed sharing the trails with "Shrek", "Big M & Little M" and "Smokey and The Teacher". Thank you also to Brian, who helped with our GPS unit questions. We would really like to see a period of time at events, or at a separate event, for educational sharing. There is much to learn and so much experience to be shared with the newer cachers. We should mention, it was nice to have lunch with "2 of His", who are also newer to the sport. Thanks again for a GREAT day of caches.

Thanks for a great time and for your hard work!
We decided to be more social at this event, so we found 14 of the hides, but we had fun hang'en out with people. My favorite part was picking on CB & MB as they ran ahead of us, trying to not let us see where the caches were ... I'm happy to report that they lied and did not take all the candy out of "Camo", so I got my mid-afternoon snack. |

Woot!!!
I had a very nice time meeting up with a bunch of fellow cachers. It was great to put faces to the names I read so often in the logs. Thanks to all for all the hard work that went into this event! |

He left Jeff off because he didn't want to be reminded of his own caching adventures that day...

OHMYGOSH! My operational error. I grabbed the names from the post Jeff had made of the pictures from Hide Day. Of course, he wasn't in any of the pictures that he took.
Jeff had some very original and mind-boggling hides - as we have come to expect! Thanks again, jthorson. |
