I am permanently archiving this last State of Mind cache, SOM Wisconsin.
I was informed that the helicopter that it was hidden in was no longer at the site. I drove out and confirmed the bird was gone. Where could it have gone?
Got OMilk? mentioned to me that he thought he saw the helicopter at the Kenosha Military Museum. I was down in that area on Sunday and stopped in. Had a nice talk with the owner. He confirmed that it is indead the helicopter from New Berlin. He knew about the cache in the nose. He had opened it before loading the bird on the trailer. He told me that he read the log and looked at the stuff in the container. He put it back in the nose. Unfortunately, it must have either fallen out on the trip south or someone took it.
So as you drive the interstate from New Berlin to Kenosha this holiday weekend, keep an eye out for a 3"x6" pvc cache container.

Bob and I saw the bird there a while ago. We debated as to whether or not it was WI. Thanks for clearing that up for us!
It's too bad that the container went missing. Since the man from the museum put it back, maybe he'd let someone place another there. You know...WI On the Move - Not just a State of Mind.

Guess SOM-Wisconsin can now be considered a "moving" cache. Find it, log it, and post the coordinates so the next finder can do the same.

Well, thanks for keeping this one up as long as you did. Duelist and I (earth angel) each planted a travel bug in Florida 11/2 years ago and they are racing to SOM Wisconsin. One is still in the east coast and the other is at the west coast. No problem...I'll take care of it through the travel bugs' log in page. Tami
