I just took my turn browsing thru the new web site, and I really like it.
Lots of changes, and so things look different. However, there are some interesting twists and additions.
And like all things in the forums, this is my opinion! You can have your's later ..... |

I am on the A Team too and really enjoy the new site. I'ts got some really neat stuff on it. Have a couple of ideas I'd like to see that will be help to the not-so-computer literate cachers like me!! Just have to drop the ideas of with Da Boss.
My opinion too... I think people will like the new site A LOT better. Job well done on this project!!

Looking forward to it! No, not that the current site is lacking in any way - its just I've watched many of my other forums & websites go thru updates recently and "New and Improved" has been refreshing and fun to see.
It gives everything a fresh look, and for some strange reason, I some how enjoy learning new operations, skills, updating softwares, etc. Being confused only leads to enlightenment, right?
Trying new broswers, scripts, RSS, podcasts/readers, and so on. The world is changing before our eyes and close to 99% of the time, Ive seen these changes work for the better.
A big thanks to the people involved in getting it going and putting in the effort to make it happen. |

i'm on the b test team. coming back to this "old" site after browsing on the new one is a major bummer. you guys are gonna love it!!!!!i
i had no trouble finding my way around (well, as long as i read stuff before i clicked on it) and some of the new features are going to make life easier. |

OK, here are a couple screen shots for those who are just dying to get a look :
Home (Main) Page
Forums Page
I should mention that this is much more than a cosmetic change... basically everything has been rewritten from the ground up or replaced. Things like the forums, photo album, etc. have been replaced with different and more powerful pieces of software. "Custom" modules such as the Cache of the Month, Events, Recent Logs, etc. have either been completely rewritten or greatly enhanced.
I agree that the site looks "prettier" than the old one... but there are probably things we can do to make it look better (I've been focusing on the features, not the appearance). In fact, one of the beta testers suggested that the site looked too plain and needed more graphics/icons. |

Very nice! I think this will attract more people as well. This is a lot more up to date in that we will probably be able to track particular forums etc ,,, this will be more like the forums I know elsewhere.
I kinda like the 'clean' basic look ,,, maybe make a poll for that?
Good job, can't wait to see that online. |
