I want to thank you all for attending. My girlfriend and I had a great time, and hope you all did as well. We are thinking of having a event like this each year. What do you all think. Congrats to Coastie, and all of the others that had reached milestones. Congrats to all, and thank you for sharing this event with us.

Thanks for planning this event Justin and Lindsey, and congratulations again on your milestones. Great people, a great setting, great weather, and great food (especially Marc's extraordinary chocolate cake ) made this an event to remember.
Those of you who took pictures at the event can upload them to this subalbum in the WGA photo album:

I just wanted to say that Natalie and I had a *great* time yesterday, and it was SO nice meeting you guys! Thank you so much for letting us hang out with you.
After the event, the two of us went to Schutte Park in Manitowoc and nabbed the 7 caches we knew of out there. After over 3 hours of walking through the woods, walking through swamps, getting stung by mosquitoes, me sliding down a muddy hill, me almost falling off of a cliff backwards, me getting poked by sticks in places I didn't even know I had, Natalie getting stabbed by a nasty thorn, and the both of us scratched up beyond belief, we finally managed to find them all. And we're both so sore today we can hardly walk. Geocaching is great.
Natalie will upload her pics from the event into the album as soon as she has a chance.
Thanks again for the picnic! It was wonderful meeting you guys!

I had a great time yesterday. It was wonderful to finally meet some of the cachers I have heard about and seen posting in these forums.
Perhaps a similar party could be held each year for those who have met milestones. This way all who have accomplished so much can be recognized.
Managed to get in some caching after the event, 5 more I believe. One of which gave me a great idea for a new cache. This will be my first hide on my own. I'm really looking forward to it. [ ]
Thanks again for setting up the event.
Congrats to Coastie and K0RPL for making 500! |
