I have a series of caches (seven total) that are located along the Buffalo River trail, an ATV trail that runs from Mondovi to Fairchild. 5 of the 7 are directly accessible from the ATV trail, 1 would be better with a car, but doable with ATV, and one, "Daddy Went Walking" you would need to use a car to get to. The series is spread out over a fairly long distance on the ATV trail. The final mystery cache is also on the ATV trail, so the best way to do it would be the 2 that ya cant get by ATV by car first, get on the ATV trail and do the rest by ATV.
Here is the final mystery cache, that cites the other 6 caches in the series:
GCKQCG
here is another one that I have looked at, but havent done, that may be good too (looks like it is): GCWGGE

There is a great cache on an ATV trail called, 5 Points Cache by Bubwis (GCWYV2). Another cache located near Mosinee with a LOT of trails is, WRC#2 Marathon County Railroad by conductorBrian (GCXD5P). Note: the WRC cache is NOT winter accessible but when the weather clears would make for a fun day of caching especially with an ATV. |
