We went to the beer festival in Eagle River last year and had a great time: 20 or 30 breweries sharing a half dozen different brews each.
This year, the new and improved Great Northern Beer Festival, is being held at the Hi-Pines Campground's festival grounds on June 9th.
We've got 4 families' campsites reserved for Team Outcast already (maybe 6 of us being festers). We'll be doing some caching in the morning - beerfest starts at 2 - if anyone else is going to be around that weekend.
I first learned about this beerfest last year by following the "account page - home page" link of a geocacher who had found our 40 Mile cache - Podunk Paul. I still have to thank him for the info.

Mmmmmmm. Beer.
Don't be afraid of the word "Bock". IMHO it has the "kick" of a red beer (think Leinie's Red or Killian's Irish Red). |
